JOHN LEE HOOKER: KING OF THE BOOGIE

THE REMARKABLE WORK OF BLUES LEGEND JOHN LEE HOOKER WILL BE THE FOCUS OF THE NEWEST EXHIBIT OPENING IN MAY AT THE WOODY GUTHRIE CENTER.

The exhibit, presented by the GRAMMY Museum® in conjunction with the John Lee Hooker Estate and Craft Recordings, highlights Hooker’s influential body of work, who influenced generations of musicians and expanded the scope of American music. The exhibit, which debuted in Hooker’s home state at GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi, is open now in Tulsa with a special member event featuring Hooker’s daughter, Zakiya Hooker.
